When choosing a colour scheme,take a step back!

There are a few factors to consider and if you take
the time to follow these pointers you’ll be more likely
to get the results you want.
The floor coverings and furniture are the items which
are likely to remain when you decorate so finding colours
that tie them is an important factor in colour selection.
We recommend a tester pot for your top 2 colours to get an
idea what the colour will look like in your room.

Warm colours such as creams and yellows will make a cold room
seem cosy,cool colours can frshen up a smaller room.

Lighter colours in a smaller room will also make the room
feel larger than it is.
Conversely darker colour can close a room in.
Dark colours are not recommended for small rooms as
the room will appear smaller than it already is.

In homes with high ceiling,especially with ornamental
coving,painting the ceiling with a colour similar to the wall
colour will appear to lower the ceiling so making it
look cosier and warmer.
